Mei Cai, PopPopPaper & ShuangXi

There are a few items that I wanna address today.

Mei Cai

Firstly, the Mei Cai. Some sort of preserved vege. You know those vege thats always inside the dish call mei cai duck. The blackish soft vege. Found this ready-to-eat can of mei cai at Takashimaya. Nice..Nice. Good condiment to eat with porridge. But the problem is that the can is really small, so the Mei Cai finishes real fast when the whole family shares it. Must buy more when I see it around next time.

Pop Pop Paper

The Bubble Wrap. Always call it 'pop-pop-zi' (Pop-Pop-Paper), since it always goes 'Pop' when each bubble segment is pressed. I think its a wonderful invention. It keeps things-that-ought-to-be-protected protected, its also a good toy to play with when one is really bo liao. Just sit there and press press on each of the bubbles one by one. Pop, Pop, Pop. And feel the bubble bursting. A undescribable feeling. Even my mom likes to play with it.

Purple Potato

Purple Potato. Organic Food. Tastes just like normal potatoes except that its purple in colour. There are purple potato chips as well. And red and orange potatoes too. Not GM.

Wedding Cake -1

Wedding Cake -2

Wedding Cake. From one of my relatives, my Dad's Sis's Son's Son. Getting married in end October. 'Eternal Love' written across the box. Haa. How typical. And on the cake itself, got the 'shuang xi' (2 joy = 1 big joy) word made out of sugar thingy. Anyone knows how to pronouce that word? Is it called Shuang Xi? But its one word by itself what. So how can it be called Shuang Xi since 'Shuang' and 'Xi' are 2 different words.

Wedding Cake -3

Its a round butter cake with chocolate swirls. Tastes ok lah. Not too bad. I picked this slice to eat cos it has a bigger proportion of chocolate swirl on it.

Wedding Cake -4

The Shuang Xi softening and melting away!
