Something I found on the net about Dreamcatchers...

According to legend...dreams hold great power and are messages from sacred spirits. When the Dream Catcher is hung near the sleeper it sorts their dreams; good dreams flow through the center of the catcher and slide down a feather to the dreamer below. Bad dreams, however, are caught in the web until the first morning's rays of light melt them away. The feathers give flight to the dream of the heart, for the dreamer to soar upon morning's break. Dream catchers are believed to bless the "sleeping one" with beautiful dreams, harmony and good luck throughout their lives.
