Lozenges, Paracetamol & Vitamin C

I'm sick, with the usual symptoms of flu. The sorethroat started last evening with only the left side of the throat. This morning the whole thing is inflammed. Fever and bodyaches too.

Took Panadol..the soluble one which dissolves to form a yellowish liquid that tastes lemony. Bitter-ish lemony though. Usually I add glucose into that to make it sweeter.

Dissolved Panadol

Panadol

Ok, lets take a look at the constituents of the panadol powder in each 5g sachet:
1) Paracetamol 750 mg - This is for bodyaches and fever.
2) Phenyleprine Hydrochloride 10mg - This is for runny nose.
3) Vitamin C 60mg - This is for resistance for our immune system to fight against the illness.

I take chewable Vitamin C tablets too. Double action Vitamin C tablets cum Zinc. The zinc is an essential mineral required by our body and it enhances the effectivity of Vitamin C.

Each tablet contains:
1) Vitamin C 500mg
2) Zinc 5mg
Sweetened with Aspartame - This is a sugar substitute. Tastes like sugar, but doesn't raise the blood sugar level as much after consumption, since it doesn't as high an energy value.

Vitamin C

Lets move on to the lozenges for my sorethroat, Haa...
Each lozenge contains:
1) Dequalinium chloride 0.25 mg - This is an antiseptic to kill the bacteria thats infecting the throat or mouth.
2) Menthol - Relieves dry mouth and throat with a refreshening effect.
3) Eucalyptus Oil - Clears stuffy nose.
